Stikmen Graphic Design consists of two designers who work together although are capable of being hired independently. We are students and therefore do not have as much free time as we would like to, however we always manage to offer continuing support to our clients.

Malcolm has been working with HTML for nearly a third of his life, and has also branched out to CSS, Javascript, PHP, Java, Adobe Flash and Photoshop, and vector art. He enjoys the process of creation and has made a huge variety of things: websites and personal blogs, interactive forms and web applications with Ajax, as well as an infuriatingly difficult flash game. Beyond the internet he has also designed art for album covers and t-shirts. When Stikmen Graphic Design first began, Malcolm would make all of the graphics for a site, and Matthew would do the layout and formatting. Now they work both cooperatively and independently on most aspects of Stikmen projects, although Malcolm typically works more with programming. Malcolm is currently taking a Bachelor of Applied Science: Systems Design Engineering degree at the University of Waterloo. |
Matthew developed an interest in web design at a young age, just as the internet was emerging and over the years, has gained experience and knowledge within the HTML language. His interest blossomed into a passion and he brought himself up to date with the current version of HTML - XHTML, to conform to the World Wide Web Consortium's Open Web Standards to achieve "Web interoperability" and increase accessibility. When designing websites, Matthew uses the most recent W3C recommendation. Currently this is XHTML 1.1 and CSS 2.1. Matthew has also divulged into Photoshop and has experience with JavaScript and PHP programming. Matthew is currently taking a Bachelor of Information Systems and Human Behaviour degree at the University of Guelph. |
